Bio

Dr. Bramha Gupta is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability. He has obtained his Ph.D. degree (2023) from School of Water Resources (Environmental Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India and M. Tech. (2017) in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, India. He has completed his B.Tech. (2015) in Civil Engineering from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, India. He was Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow (IPDF) (2024-25) at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. His research interests include Environmental impact assessment; Application of machine learning in environmental science, Environmental auditing (ISO 14001); Water and wastewater treatment and their reuse; Biological wastewater treatment processes; Micro and nano plastic removal; and Mathematical tools (ANN and RSM). Dr. Bramha has published 21 scientific research and review papers (Google Scholar Citations more than 2300) in various reputed International journals. Dr. Bramha is also credited with an Indian Patent (2023) based on a biological treatment system and published a Reference Book (2025) on Photocatalysis. He has also earned Gold-Medal in B. Tech. and is an active member of International Water Association. Dr. Bramha is a potential reviewer of several International journals including Environmental Research, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, and Scientific Reports, among others. Dr. Bramha has also presented his research work in several conferences and workshops of National and International repute.
