This course gives you a complete overview of HTML and CSS, it goes deeper in cross-browser compatibility and semantic HTML. I definitely recommend it for beginners.

I am very interested in this course. After this, I can design and make a page by my own with beautiful structure in, nice effect with animation by combine html and css. But there are 2 things make me a little uncomfortable in this course. First, that is the mentor's voice, in the end of the sentences, her voice always faster and louder, make me a little unfocusing. Second, that is instruction in the peer-review assignment, it makes almost students get confused and misunderstand so a lot of people upload uncompleted their work. I hope someone in the team can see this review and fix that for other students can go through this course perfectly. Overall, I really love this module and this course also. Thank you for everybody who work hard to make this course carefully and perfectly!!

The course is excellent. It covers a lot of HTML / CSS concepts with numerous examples and places to test out the functionality and practice it. I take one star away for the organization of the final project: first I am told I should prepare a website with images and upload everything in a zip file. So I spend a lot of time creating images, making sure they fit into the page and then when it comes to submission I am only allowed to submit the html and the css file. Without the images the webpage loses a lot of attractive power and that what this exercise was supposed to be about? This should be fixed: either allow uploading images or tell learners up front to prepare a bare-bone page with no graphics. This will save learners a lot of time and frustration.
